Schlichting is New Jeffco Soccer Head Coach

(DE SOTO) A new men’s and women’s soccer coach is coming on board at Jefferson College. Jefferson College Athletic Director Bob Deutschman says former De Soto soccer coach and former Jeffco soccer player Luke Schlichting will take the reins in his new duties this month. Deutschman says Schlichting was one of many seeking the job.
According to Deutschman, Schlichting’s knowledge of the local soccer community will play well.
The 26 year old Schlichting says he is very excited to be back at Jefferson College.
Meanwhile, according to De Soto High School Athletic Director Jon Roop, De Soto has selected Nate Reiser as Schlicting’s replacement. Reiser has worked recently as an assistant soccer coach at De Soto and he was the Dragon’s head coach at De Soto a few years ago.
