Scism to Run for State Senate

(Farmington) A St. Francois County business owner made a big announcement today.

Kent Scism is the President of Sam Scism Ford Lincoln and has decided to get into politics.

Kent and his wife lost a daughter to opioids.

Scism also believes being a business owner will help him get things done in Jefferson City.

Scism hopes to take the state senate seat currently held by businessman Gary Romine of Farmington.

Romine will be term limited after 2020.

The primary election is next August with the general election next November.
