(ARNOLD) Fox High School has a new Athletic Director and it’s Warrior assistant football coach Scott Leuthauser.

On Tuesday, July 16th, the Fox C-6 Board of Education voted 6-0 to hire Leuthauser for the position. A few days later, Leuthauser’s predecessor Zack Brown took to Twitter to announce that he was going to become the new Freshman Principal at Fox while also congratulating Leuthauser on the new gig.

Leuthauser went through extensive schooling to be qualified for the AD role.

In touching on the upcoming fall sports season at Fox, Leuthauser talked about football and the Brent Tinker impact.

As for the prospects of a repeat performance of last year’s 9-2 football team that reached its district championship game, Leuthauser is optimistic.

Come winter, there will be a new face of the Fox wrestling program.

Leuthauser wants the Fox Warrior community to know that he has the kids and the community’s best interest at heart.

The fall sports season for Fox will officially kick off with the football Warriors visiting Festus on August 30th on AM 1400 KJFF; volleyball at home against Rockwood Summit on September 3rd; softball in the Summit Invitational at Chesterfield on August 30th and 31st; boys soccer at Seckman on August 30th; and cross country at the Jackson Invitational on August 31st.
