Scouts Annual Food Drive the Next Two Saturdays

(Farmington) Boy Scout troops and Cub Scout troops from the Ozark Trailblazers District will be all over southeast Missouri the next two Saturdays.

This is the two Saturdays the scouts do their annual food drive but with the pandemic, the Ozark Trailblazer scouts will be doing it different this year.

Adam Bowers is the Ozark Trailblazers District commissioner and the Scouting for Food chairman.

He says the change is also because they want to see more donations than in years past.

We asked Bowers what types of donations would work the best.

The scouts Fill a Trailer…Feed the Hungry Food Drive will have trailers with scouts on hand this Saturday and next Saturday the 20th from 10 until 2.

Drop off points include Dollar General in Viburnum, Rozier’s Country Mart and Save-A-Lot in Ste. Genevieve, Save-A-Lot in Potosi, First United Methodist Church, Harps Food Stores and Save-A-Lot all in Park Hills, Roy’s Convenience Store in Leadwood, Save-A-Lot in Ironton, Harps Food Stores and Save-A-Lot in Farmington, Dollar General in Doe Run, Good Vibes Nutrition, Walmart and V.F.W.
