Seckman cross country racing with familiar faces

(Imperial) The Seckman Jaguars will have a unique advantage heading into this cross country season: continuity.

Seckman had no seniors in 2020, so all 5 of their state qualifiers and the entire rest of the roster.

Add in some exciting first-year runners, and Jaguars head coach Jackie Roach says summer practices are already an exciting time.

Junior Danielle Maxwell and sophomores Elizabeth Kundert and Ariel Laird made quite a splash with state-qualifying times in the early part of their careers.

Roach says the sky’s the limit for her burgeoning stars.

Seniors Dylan Glastetter and Jonny Key are look to make it back to the Class 5 championships.

Roach says the bond they’ve forged with sweat and effort makes each other better.
