Seckman hurdles Herky for Duke Herbert Classic title on KJFF

(Crystal City) The Seckman Jaguars rolled to a tournament title by beating the Herculaneum Blackcats 80-49 in the championship game of the Rolla “Duke” Herbert Classic Friday night on KJFF.

Seckman only lead by four in the first quarter when the Jaguars ripped off a 17-3 run and never looked back.

Seckman lead 40-21 at halftime and kept on cruising in the second half thanks to junior forward Anthony Westervelt.

Westervelt scored 11 of his team-high 13 points in the third quarter and was the Applebee’s of Farmington Player of the Game.

Jags head coach Travis Williams called it a complete performance.

Seckman improves to 3-0, while Herculaneum falls to 3-1.
