(IMPERIAL) The Seckman Jaguars baseball team is ready to get back in the swing of a spring season and will do so with a game tomorrow afternoon against Liberty in the Troy Tournament.

8th year head coach Brad Hagedorn is hoping to build on an 11-16 record last season, capped off by a Jaguars loss in the district semis to Rockwood Summit. He claims pitching is going to be a strength of the team this year.

Coach Hagedorn expects the offense to produce a nice mix of power and speed.

Those middle of the order hitters are seniors Zac Voss, Nate Robinson and Steven Reando. Seckman’s first Troy tournament game is tomorrow at 4 pm against Liberty out of Wentzville. The Jaguars will continue tournament play with a doubleheader Saturday against Francis Howell and Chaminade.
