(IMPERIAL) After winning the McCluer North and Winnetonka Tournament’s last week, Seckman wrestler Kai Orine is the Parkland Health Pharmacy Play it Forward Athlete of the Week.

On Wednesday, Kai defeated McCluer North’s Isaac Roberson by Fall. Then on Friday and Saturday at Winnetonka, Kai dominated the 126-pound weight division by winning 6 of his 7 matches by Fall, leading to a 1st place finish. Jaguars coach Ryan Moyer has been blown away by Kai’s accomplishment at Winnetonka and beyond.

Kai’s championship at Winnetonka was his 4th in that tournament, which is the first time in Seckman school history that anyone has ever done that. Kai is also ranked 3rd nationally, has only surrendered one offensive point all season, and not to mention he is also a two-time state champion.

When asked if Kai Orine is the best wrestler coach Moyer has ever seen and coached, he didn’t hesitate.

As the Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Athlete of the Week, Kai will receive a certificate, a T-shirt, and Parkland Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy will make a $25 donation to a charity of his choice.
