(IMPERIAL) As voted on by coaches from the Regional Radio listening area, Seckman High School’s Ryan Moyer has been named the J-98 Winter Dream Team Wrestling Coach of the Year.

The announcement was made Tuesday night on the J-98 Dream Team Selection Show. This is the first such award for the 4th-year head coach. He was certainly pleased and thankful to receive the honor.

Coach Moyer introduces us to his coaching staff from the varsity level all the way down to the freshman level.

Coach Moyer says that the success of the Seckman wrestling program stems from the expectations set forth by him and his staff on the kids and the expectations the kids have for themselves.

Moyer had 10 wrestlers qualify for state with 4 of them placing. Freshman Davin Haag and senior Jermy Ashlock finished 5th, senior Kai Orine won his third consecutive state championship, and Corrine McClure finished 6th.
