Seckman’s Conrad caps historic wrestling career on Dream Team

(Imperial) Madison Conrad exits her wrestling career with the Seckman Jaguars as a history maker.

Along with making the Regional Radio Dream Team, Conrad became the first girls’ wrestler from Jefferson County to make the state championships all 4 years.

She says this latest accomplishment is extremely satisfying.

While she didn’t medal at state, Conrad went 20-11 in her senior season and finished fourth in Class 1 at 125 pounds.

It’s the end of a long but gratifying journey – which Conrad admits almost didn’t happen.

And Conrad says it takes an army to ensure you have a spectacular career.

Conrad is one of 4 Seckman wrestlers to make the Dream Team this season.
