(Imperial) The Seckman Jaguars are churning out great wrestlers early and often.
Matt Cook is the latest young star, breaking through onto the Regional Radio Dream Team as a sophomore.
Cook was the runner-up in Class 4 at 113 pounds to cap a 34-10 season.
Cook says it wasn’t until the very end that he felt he was worthy of that type of year.
Cook brought home the Class 4 District 1 championship in 2022.
He says the biggest hurdle he had to overcome was the mental aspect of the sport.
But, while it’s been a fast start to his career, Cook says he’s just getting started.
Cook joins sophomore teammate Draegen Orine on the wrestling Dream Team.
