Seckman’s Josh Herget Brings Home Spot on 2021 Dream Team

Seckman senior Josh Herget has seen a lot of improvements in his game throught the years. His senior season was one of his best and area coaches voted him as part of the 2021 Spring Dream Team for Baseball. Herget was a major player for a Seckman team that finished 21-7 on the season, he said that his teammates had a deep connection with one another.

Herget capped off his senior campaign with a .421 batting average, .511 on-base percentage, 12 doubles, a triple, and 35 RBI’s. He said that bringing runners home was the strongest part of his game this year.

Herget shared what was his biggest improvements were.

He also says that the people around him is what he will remember most from his high school career.

Herget will attend Meramec to play baseball. He was the SWC Player of the Year, 1st team all-conference and all-district.
