Seckman’s Ruble runs wild in Dream Team debut season

(Imperial) The Seckman Jaguars achieved a breakthrough season on the football field thanks largely to sophomore quarterback Cole Ruble, a new face to the Regional Radio Dream Team.

Ruble rushed for a school-record 1,716 yards and 19 touchdowns in just his first year as a starter.

He says he’s proud that the work he has put in on and off the field is being recognized.

Ruble guided the Jaguars to a tie for most wins in a season in program history and their first-ever home playoff game.

He says the senior class pushed him and the whole team to do something special.

Ruble had plenty of high-water marks, including a 401-yard, 5-TD performance in a win over previously unbeaten Central.

He points to his guys up front as the real secret ingredient.

Ruble is one of 4 sophomores to make the football Dream Team this season.
