Seniors Shine on Senior Night as Farmington Tops Roosevelt on KREI

(Farmington, Mo.) The Farmington Knights boys basketball team took care of business on Senior Night as they defeated the Roosevelt Roughriders by a final score of 80-72 tonight on KREI.

The Knights came out on fire in the first quarter as Owen Tripp knocked down three three’s in the frame.

Tripp finished with 18 points in the ball game.

Isaac Tinnin kept up the hot shooting in the second quarter for Farmington.

Tinnin finished with 13 in the contest.

Then in the second half it was Carson Sutton’s turn to take over.

Sutton ended the game leading all Knights scorers with 24 points.

Roosevelt rallied late but ultimately the Knights kept them at bay to win by eight.

Farmington head coach Terry Noble says it was the seniors’ game to win tonight.

With the win Farmington improves to 14-10 and they will take on the Potosi Trojans tomorrow.
