(DeSoto, MO/Kingston, MO)  When the DeSoto Dragons football team takes the field on Friday nights, there is an important shade of green that you won’t see. The DeSoto football team consists of mostly DeSoto students, but there are a handful of Kingston Cougars making major contributions this season. The Kingston School District doesn’t offer football for their fall sports season. 

In an effort to bring football to the Cougars, the DeSoto and Kingston Districts came to an agreement that allows student athletes from Kingston to be a part of the DeSoto football program. Kingston Athletic Director Paul Hamilton explains how it works…


Kingston senior Austin Akers is the Cougar making an impact on the Dragons this season.
