(Cape Girardeau, MO) – 48 high school volleyball teams compete tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday in the Dig For Life Classic Volleyball tournament in Cape Girardeau. Pool play takes place Friday evening and Saturday morning with teams broken into gold, silver, and bronze brackets Saturday afternoon and evening.

Competing in pool A is Farmington and their head coach, Julie Ward, says you have to worry about your team first in a tournament of this size.


Over in pool P is Lesterville, their coach Betsy Middleton notes that the pool matches have a different feel.

 

Other area schools in the Dig For Life Classic include Clearwater, Woodland, Hillsboro, Bismarck, Viburnum, Seckman, South Iron, Jefferson, Meadow Heights, Greenville, and Leopold.
