September is Missouri Archaeology Month

(Jefferson County) September is recognized as Missouri Archaeology Month and Mastodon State Historic Site in Imperial is celebrating with a variety of programming and demonstrations this Saturday.

Ken Smith is the Superintendent of the Mastodon State Historic Site. He says the event is free and will be held near the museum.

The event runs from 9:30am until 3pm this Saturday at Mastodon State Historic Site which is located at 1050 Charles J. Becker Drive in Imperial.
