Serious Injuries for Farmington Woman in St. Francois County Crash

(Halifax) A woman from Farmington was seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a two vehicle accident in St. Francois County.

The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Highway 67 at ‘J-J’ Highway when 25-year-old Amanda Pickert’s Nissan Armada, traveling northbound and too fast for the wet road conditions, ran off the road, crossed the median, overturned and threw Pickert from the vehicle.

A sign, which had also been struck by Pickert’s vehicle, ended up striking a Chevy Blazer with that driver unhurt.

Pickert was seriously injured and she was taken to Mercy Hospital South.
