Serious Injury in Crawford County Accident

An 89-year-old woman from Piedmont sustained serious injuries in a one-car crash this afternoon in Crawford County. The Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Route “H-H”, southwest of Piedmont, when Naida Thurman traveled off the right side of the roadway in her 99 Chevy Tracker, struck a ditch, overturned, and was ejected from the vehicle. Thurman was transported by Clearwater Ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital.
