Seven people including four children injured in traffic crash on Route B

A two-vehicle accident sent 7 people to hospital on Sunday night. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a Subaru Baja driven by 19-year-old Taylor Dillow of Eureka was traveling northbound on Route B near Dittmer when she tried to apply her brakes, she began to skid and lost control, crossing the center line, and striking a 2018 Chevy Suburban, driven by 40-year-old Cathleen Andrescavage of Festus. Andrescavage was taken by ambulance to St. Louis Children’s Hospital with moderate injuries. Her passenger, 45-year-old Andrew Andrescavage, and three children were all taken by ambulance to St. Louis Children’s Hospital, one of the children with serious injuries, the other two with moderate injuries. Meanwhile, Taylor Dillow was taken to Mercy Hospital South with serious injuries, and her passenger, a 12-year-old juvenile, was taken to St. Louis Children’s Hospital with serious injuries as well. This accident happened at 7:15 Sunday Night.
