Severe Weather Causes Car Accident In Washington County

(Washington County) The severe weather Sunday night is partly to blame for a traffic accident on ‘P’ Highway in Washington County that sent a DeSoto man to the hospital with serious injuries. The highway patrol says a GMC Sierra driven by 66 year old Daniel Hurtgen ran off the road on wet pavement. He was taken to Mercy Hospital South by Washington County Ambulance. the accident happened just after 8 o’clock Sunday night, north of Hihpoint Church Road.
