(St. Louis) The next several days are expected to be hot ones for southeast Missouri. In addition, thunderstorms are expected to start popping up in the area this week. Marshall Pfahler is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in St. Louis. He says these storms have the potential to cause some damage in the area.
High temperatures are expected to reach 90 or higher throughout the rest of the week. The threat of showers and thunderstorms are also in the forecast through at least next Monday.
