Sheriff Marshak on recent country protests

(Hillsboro) There were a few protests in Jefferson County over the weekend. Peaceful protests were held in Arnold, Festus, and another in Fenton. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office assisted in all three locations to provide aide and keep things peaceful and safe. Sheriff Dave Marshak says they were out in full force at the Sabre Corporation in Fenton.

Sheriff Marshak says all the protests were kept safe with very few issues.

One counter-protester was arrested and taken into custody at the Jefferson County Jail from the protest in Fenton.
