Sheriff Marshak Speaks On Selecting A Builder For The Crime Lab

(HILLSBORO, PEVELY) The builder has been approved and the next steps in constructing the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office crime lab are underway. K & S Associates was selected by the Jefferson County Council to be the builder of the lab in Pevely. Sheriff Dave Marshak says it’s nice to get this big step completed.

Sheriff Marshak says a start date to break ground has not been decided upon just yet.

Still on the checklist of the project will be the hiring of the staff to run the lab, as well as purchasing the necessary equipment needed. The hope is to break ground on the construction of the lab sometime this spring.
