Sheriff’s Deputies Recover Stolen Motorcycle During Traffic Stop

(Jefferson County, MO) Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies recovered a motorcycle after they found it to be stolen while conducting a traffic stop in the area of Route A and Burning Tree Lane outside of Festus.

According to sheriff’s office spokesman Grant Bissell, the incident occurred on August 12th around 9pm.

Bissell adds after the deputy looked up the bikes registration, he saw that is was reported stolen.

The 1996 Honda Motorcycle was towed and is currently in the process of being returned to the owner.
