Sheriff’s Office investigates stolen vehicle cases around the county

(Jefferson County) A vehicle and handgun left inside was both stolen from a residence in the 4300 block of Highway 61 outside of the Bloomsdale area.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell says the theft happened sometime during the overnight hours between October 23rd and 24th.
The detective bureau continues to work on leads in the case. The Ford F-250, which is valued around $15,000, has not been recovered at this time.
In a separate case, a vehicle was taken off property in the 2100 block of Lake Park Trail in De Soto.
The vehicle hasn’t been recovered at this time.
