Sheriff’s office investigates theft from unlocked vehicles in Imperial neighborhood

(Jefferson County) New year, same old crimes when it comes to theft from vehicles left unlocked in and around Jefferson County.

Sheriff’s office spokesman Grant Bissell says the most recent vehicle thefts happened early on Monday morning in the 5300 block of Burgundy Drive off Seckman Road in the Imperial area.

These types of crimes is something the sheriff’s office and surrounding law enforcement agencies have been dealing with for awhile now.

As a result of the gun being stolen from the vehicle, there was posts on Facebook of a possible shooter in the area.

The detective bureau is currently working on the case to find those responsible.
