Sheriff’s office investigating burglaries in Jefferson County

(Jefferson County) A 36-year-old Barnhart man was arrested after he allegedly was found to be in possession of stolen property.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell says deputies were called to a residence in the 1700 block of Marylin in Barnhart for a report of a disturbance where the suspect was reportedly armed with a golf club.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

Warrants were eventually issued for $100-thousand dollars and if bond was to be posted he would be remanded to GPS house arrest.

Investigators with the sheriff’s office detective bureau are also looking into a different case where a number of electronics was taken from a home in the 100 block of Blue Jay Hill near House Springs on October 29th.
