Sheriff’s Office Remains Busy Recovering Stolen Property

(Jefferson County) Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies were able to recover a stolen ATV after receiving a call of suspicious activity in the 5300 block of Dulin Creek Road in House Springs just before 10:30 in the evening on July 25th.

Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell says when deputies arrived on scene they made contact with two women alongside the road who had the ATV.

Both women at the scene were arrested and later released pending application of warrants. The stolen 2017 Polaris Razor 1000 ATV was towed and is now in the process of being returned to the owner.

In a separate incident, Jefferson County authorities were able to recover a 2019 Nissan Sentra that was stolen out of St. Louis County on July 24th.

Bissell says it all started when a deputy, who was patrolling in the area of Miller Road and West Outer Road in Imperial, caught the aforementioned vehicle speeding.

Investigators are currently working on leads to find those responsible in the case.
