Showers and Storms Move Back in the Area on Tuesday

(East Central-Southeast Mo) With the next weather system on the horizon, meteorologists are tracking the potential for a few strong to severe thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening on Tuesday.

Jayson Gosselin is a forecaster with the National Weather Service in St. Louis. He says a low pressure system with a joining cold front will track just to the south of our region.

Despite possible strong storms on Tuesday, most of the region will continue to see on and off showers and storms throughout the week.

The good news is that temperatures will start feeling more like spring in the coming days.
