Single-Car Accident Injures Man In Pilot Knob

(Iron Co.) A single-car accident in Iron County Tuesday morning resulted in a man from Pilot Knob getting injured. Highway patrol says 66-year-old Gary Whited was southbound on MO 21, two miles north of Pilot Knob, when he ran his 2004 Chevy Cavalier off the road and struck a tree. Whited was air-lifted to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis with moderate injuries.
