Soil Sampling Can Make The Difference For Your Lawn And Garden

(Jefferson County) As fall rain approaches, it is a perfect time to fertilize and rejuvenate your lawn and garden. Horticulture Field Specialist for the Jefferson County University of Missouri Extension Office Debbie Kelly says a soil sample can make a difference and accelerate your lawn work.

Kelly tells us how to test your soil.

Kelly says it costs about 20 dollars per sample and it will take 5-7 days to process the sample, but it makes all the difference when taking care of your lawn. You can send your soil sample to your county’s University of Missouri Extension office.
