(FESTUS, Mo.) – An appearance on the All-State 2nd Team in just her sophomore season and a batting average of .475 on the year earned softball player Catryn Cattoor from the Jefferson Lady Bluejays a spot on the Regional Radio Dream Team.
Cattoor, a catcher, found herself on a team with a first year head coach in Robert Kuehnle and zero seniors.
She says this forced her into an early leadership role along with junior and fellow Dream Teamer Abi Chipps.
In addition to coach Kuehnle, Cattoor had a host of people she wanted to thank for accelerating her growth in athletics.
Cattoor keeps herself busy as she also participates in basketball and track, and yet makes enough time to have a 4.0 GPA in the classroom.
Cattoor credits her teachers for their help.
Cattoor is excited for next Fall as Jefferson’s entire softball team returns from this past year.
