Sophomore Kale Clements Runs Onto The Girls Track & Field Dream Team

(Ste. Genevieve) Kale Clements turned a successful sophomore track season into a spot on the Regional Radio Girls Track and Field Dream Team.
Clements placed 2nd at state in the 400m and 7th in the 800m. Her time of 58.44 seconds in the 400 meter run also set a Ste. Genevieve High School record. Clements takes us through her preparation leading up to the state meet.
Clements says the 800m run requires more strategy than the 400.
The Dragons are coached by Tyne Huck. Clements says she loves having Huck as her coach.
Clements was the conference, district and sectional champion in the 400m. She was pretty happy with the year that she had.
Clements also ran the 1600m, 4x400m and 4x800m relays and participated in the triple jump.
