South Carolina Man gets Federal Prison Time for Child Enticement Involving Jefferson County

(St. Louis) A federal judge sentenced Ryan Palmieri to 80 months in prison this week for child enticement.

The 37-year-old Charleston, South Carolina resident traveled, in January 2019, from South Carolina to the St. Louis and Jefferson County area to meet the victim who he had previously met through a cell phone app.

The victim was 13 at the time.

During his six-day stay in this area, Palmieri rented an Air BnB and engaged in several sexual acts, including intercourse with the teenager.

On April 29th of last year, Palmieri traveled back to this area to meet the 13-year-old again.

The FBI, St. Louis County Police Department, Jefferson County Police Department and the St. Louis Child Exploitation Task Force investigated this case.
