(PARK HILLS) The boys finals in the Central Christmas Tournament are set after South Iron and Central emerged victorious tonight on J-98.

In the first semifinal match-up, the top-seeded South Iron Panthers dominated the fifth-seeded North County Raiders by a final of 77-40. Brock Wakefield was our Applebee’s of Farmington Player of the Game, scoring 16 of his 22 points in the first half.

South Iron head coach Dusty Dinkins thought his team overcame a tough opening few minutes that saw North County control the tempo.

The Central Rebels beat the Hillsboro Hawks with a final score of 58-44 in the last game of the semi-finals of the Central Christmas tourney. The Rebels went on a 14-3 run to end the game with this Drew Hamski bucket to get it going.

Rebels Head Coach Allen Davis turns his attention to South Iron in the championship and slowing down an aggressive Panthers team.

The Central Rebels and South Iron Panthers will cap off our coverage on New Year’s Eve with the championship at 7:30 on J-98. Playing for 3rd place on the boys side will be North County and Hillsboro at 4:30, also on J-98.
