(BUNKER) – The boys semi-finals of the Black River League Tournament took place on J-98 Thursday night. The top-seeded South Iron Panthers defeated the fourth-seeded host Bunker Eagles 56-45. It was a defensive standoff with the first half ending 16-11 Bunker. The Panthers flipped the scoring switch on in the second half as Austin Ruble led South Iron with 19 points coming on five 3-pointers.

South Iron head coach Dusty Dinkins said his team came out with some fire in the second half.

The top-seed Panthers move on to the BRL championship game against Ellington Saturday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on J-98.
