South Iron Junior Drew Gayle Sets Her Place on Volleyball Dream Team
(Annapolis) The South Iron Panthers had an amazing year this past volleyball season and had some great players on the court. Junior Drew Gayle was selected by area coaches for this year’s Volleyball Dream Team. Gayle led her team in assists with 658 and even reached the milestone of 1,000 career assists. She tells us more about the accomplishment.
While Gayle loves to get her teammates involved, the middle-hitter would rather go for the kill. She says it was a difficult process to be both a middle-hitter and a setter.
Gayle has high hopes for the season next year and wants to see a faster tempo on the court.
The Junior wanted to thank some of her supporters.
South Iron made their first final-four appearance in volleyball last season. Drew is currently playing basketball for the Lady Panthers.
