South Iron Volleyball Defeats New Haven In Class One Sectionals, Will Host Summersville In Quarterfinals Saturday Afternoon

(New Haven) The South Iron volleyball team is one win away from making it to the final four. The Panthers traveled up to New Haven Thursday night and defeated the Shamrocks in straight sets (25-21, 25-19, 25-22). Coach Megan Williams is proud of her girls for making it out of a very tough district and winning Thursday night.
Williams takes us through the victory over New Haven.
South Iron will host the Summersville Wildcats Saturday afternoon in the Class One Quarterfinals. The Panthers actually beat the Wildcats in their very first match of the season pretty easily. But coach Williams is not expecting the same Summersville team to show up in Annapolis.
First serve is set for 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon at South Iron High School. The winner goes to the final four at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau next Friday evening.
