Southern Jefferson County Fire Crews Respond to Early Morning Residential Fire

(De Soto) Southern Jefferson County area fire departments responded to a vacant house fire in the 13000 block of Fox Farm Road south of De Soto on October 29th.
According De Soto Rural Fire Protection District Chief Tom Fitzgerald, they were dispatched out to the residential fire just after 2 that morning.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.De Soto Rural was assisted by the Hillsboro, Hematite and Jefferson R-7 Fire Protection Districts along with the De Soto City Fire Department and Valle Ambulance District.
