St. Francois County courts adding online systems for jury selection

Prospects for jury duty in St. Francois County will have new ways to communicate with the courts starting in November.
County circuit clerk Vicki Weible says the county is implementing the Show-Me Jury System.
You will also be able to receive alerts with text messages.
Weible says if you’re worried about the modern technological changes, don’t fret.
Weible says the changes are being made to make it less of a hassle for jurors.
While nothing is official, Weible says the possibility exists that the term of service for jurors could be shortened from four to 3 months.
