St. Francois County Health Center On COVID Testing/Spike

(Park Hills) The St. Francois County Health Center in Park Hills will serve as a testing site for COVID-19 every Wednesday through the end of the year. Linda Ragsdale is the director of the health center. She says they worked with the state to set this up.
We asked Ragsdale about the increases they are seeing in terms of COVID.
According to the state, there have been 84 new cases reported in St. Francois County in the last week. That brings the total number of cases in the county to over 10,500 since the pandemic began. The vaccine rate in St. Francois County is just over 44 percent for the first dose and 39 percent for the second. The tests will be done every Wednesday from 9-5. You don’t need to make an appointment.
