St. Francois County Hit And Run

(St. Francois County) A hit-and-run in St. Francois County Monday afternoon sent a woman to the hospital with moderate injuries. 28-year-old Ammey Schaffer was traveling southbound on highway 67, north of highway 47, when an unknown vehicle changed into her lane and collided with the 28-year-old’s 2007 Chevy Impala. Schaffer was sent off the side of the road and her vehicle overturned. The other driver fled the scene while Schaffer was taken to Parkland Health Center in Bonne Terre with moderate injuries.
