St. Francois County Jury Finds Burrows Guilty

(Farmington) A St. Francois County jury found 64 year old Cecil Burrow guilty on Wednesday on four counts of Sodomy in the First Degree.

According to a news release from the St. Francois County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, the jury heard evidence for a day and a half and delivered the guilty verdict after deliberating for 30 minutes.

After hearing evidence at a sentencing hearing, the jury recommended Burrow be sentenced to 20 years in the department of corrections on each count.

Formal sentencing will be held on July 22nd.

The case against the Ironton man dates back to 2018.
