St. Francois County Road & Bridge Superintendent Shares County Commission’s Storm Cleanup Plan

(Farmington) The St. Francois County Road and Bridge Department will continue working to cleanup after this week’s storms that brought numerous trees down, many blocking county roads.

Clay Copeland is the superintendent of the Road and Bridge Department.

He wants to share the county’s cleanup plan.

Copeland says the tree damage is pretty much everywhere.

And if rains continue to fall this weekend, Copeland says to be aware of the possibility of flooded roads.

Four days into August and Regional Radio in Farmington has already measured around 7 inches of rain.

The normal average rainfall for August is a little more than 4 inches.

Copeland also says you can call the St. Francois County Road and Bridge Department at 573-454-2441 should you have any questions about tree debris removal.
