St. Francois County Set To Resume Trials In October

(Farmington) After being shut down for a second time because of COVID-19, it looks like things are getting close to returning to normal at the St. Francois County Courthouse. Prosecuting Attorney Melissa Gilliam says after being in what’s called Phase Zero, where they couldn’t hold any proceedings, they hope to start back up again again next week.

Gilliam says they have three trials set at this time starting in October.

As of right now, there are only three trials set for October and six for November. The majority of trials have been scheduled starting in 2021 for St. Francois County.
