St. Francois County Sheriff Concerned About Flooding Risks

(St. Francois County) A flash flood watch is in effect for most of the area because of the heavy rains being forecast for the next 24 hours. St. Francois County Sheriff Dan Bullock says area motorists need to take care if they are driving across a low water bridge.
And it’s not just rural roads that aren’t used that much that are at risk for flooding.
Forecasters say up to two inches of rain is possible from this latest system.
