St Francois County Issues Stay at Home Order

(St. Francois Co) The St. Francois County Commission voted today to issue a stay at home order for county residents because of COVID-19.

Amber Elliot is the director of the St. Francois County Health Center in Park Hills.

The order will start April 3rd at midnight.

More than twenty other jurisdictions in Missouri have implemented similar orders. Many professional organizations have advocated for a statewide order including the following: Missouri Foundation for Health, Missouri Chapter of American Academy of Pediatrics, Missouri Hospital Association, Missouri Academy of Family Physicians, Missouri Center for Public Health Excellence, Missouri Nurses Association, and Missouri Primary Care Association.
