St. Francois County United Way Could Struggle This Year

(St. Francois County) The next several months could be rough ones for the United Way of St. Francois County. Clay Whitener is the executive director of the group. He says they rely heavily on local donations, and those have been hard to come by the last month because of the pandemic.

Whitener says there is some good news to report.

The United Way had hoped to provide funding to over 30 not for profit agencies this summer. Whitener says the board is expected to meet as soon as possible to discuss their options in regards to funding.
