St. Francois sheriff’s K-9 gets bulletproof vest

The St. Francois County sheriff’s police dog will be better protected thanks to a gift.

The Humane Society has donated a bulletproof vest to the department’s K-9 unit named Teo.

State director Amanda Good presented the vest on behalf of the Humane Society and helped sheriff’s deputy Nathan Glore fit Teo with the vest.

Teo joined the department in 2018 and lives with and is trained by Glore.
